I see what you’re saying, when you said put it out of your mind it more sounded like forget about it, which isn’t helpful when people see a problem, but you have to know what you can reasonably impact. There is usually more that can be done but time and money are limited. Many people don’t have the time to campaign for ideas which in itself is an issue with the way things are run in my opinion.

Depends on the reaching of the action, even if the event was out of their control but going to impact them, say an invasion or war breaking out at their location it’d be warranted. However in a general sense I agree, it causes undue stress if there’s nothing directly they can change.

People thinking like that is how we get some people fighting for rights, the current fight may not directly impact them but they can see how it’ll impact things in the near future when more rights are changed. I mostly agree with not adding undue stress but sometimes it can be difficult to know when it’s undue or warranted because it can happen quickly once the ball starts rolling.

Talk about an awkward conversation with the fiancee, or a short time before it’s called off. Unless their partner is as scummy as the candidate, I see a big future in the GOP for them, assuming they get that seat. Party of family values for sure heh. Nothing like showing lies to show how highly you consider those values.

Dunno what OS’s it supports besides Windows but I use Kdiff for random comparisons regularly, I think it works pretty well untill you get to much larger files (20+ MB slows down a lot). The huge file wasn’t code but needed to check output changes for those curious.

I constantly check git comparison with previous versions to see what changed to break things in a build though. Didn’t know there was a way to diff any files in git,should probably just learn to use that one.

Well Trump has no imagination so that’s simple for him, not sure I’d say that about all conservatives, just the simple ones. The ones that have an imagination are possibly more dangerous but least none of them are running for president…this time.

I figured he didn’t have to do it if he didn’t want to and he acted like he was having fun, which made me enjoy those scenes so much more. ‘You know what? With the amount of them these days does it make a difference? I get the idea for sure, and when there were less of them it was easier and made some sense, but these days you may as well be plugging the hoover dam with bubble gum. What part of that is bad? Nothing says people can’t protest but no one should interfere with kid’s education. Doesn’t say people can’t protest, but they can’t disrupt people who go in there is all which seems fair.

Tom Hanks in an 80s comedy (came out in 90 close enough) is usually worth it, I only watched it once a number of years ago. It wasn’t overly memorable but I recall enjoying it well enough. There was probably jokes I wasn’t paying attention enough to notice. However when you add Meg Ryan with Hanks you can’t really go wrong.

He punches down in his ‘jokes’, and laughs at other people’s misery rather than when it’s in good humour. How anyone can vote for a politician that can’t laugh at themselves let alone a good joke is a mystery to me.
