As always, Texas hates Texans. All I ever hear are the things their government takes away or deny them. What’s Texas done for Texas lately?

The best example I can think of where the race choices really got stupid to the point of offensive was the first “The Last Airbender” movie where the director race swapped the entire fire nation to Indian, made the water nation white when they probably should have been Innuit or something similar, then chose to mispronounce the main characters name to make it sound more ethnic when the source material was in English, so they knew exactly how it should be pronounced.
Then for whatever reason, people got mad that the main character was white when it was the only character animated in such a way they could be white, and the tribe was a nomadic collection of people making it somewhat possible albeit not relevant to the nation theming of the other nations.
Anyways, this triggered my annual Last Airbender rant, so sorry about that.
Getting downvoted by people with no explanation so I’ll assume it’s people who just want to push a “both sides” narrative.

This is what everyone giving money wants right? You gave money for them to use it for the election.
If they weren’t such repulsive people, I would feel bad for all the Republicans that donated to Trump’s campaign just to have him spend it on his legal bills.
There isn’t and shouldn’t be a party for immigrants. Once they are citizens they fall under an umbrella that should be supported by a party, but until they can vote and have made the commitment of citizenship, our government shouldn’t take their wants into account (besides obvious human decency and needs).
Only in America do we concern ourselves with this. It should be made so good for citizens that people want to immigrate here and become citizens themselves. That is the only method I want to expend effort on to make immigrants lives better than they already are just by leaving their home country.
Drugs and money. Which is how we got here in the first place.
I rate it 1 star if it asks before I could possibly have even used it.
It would have to be a truly miraculous app that transforms my life for me to change a review.
If it asks after the 20th or so use, then it gets 5 stars because I obviously open it a bunch and regardless of my feelings, it’s obviously useful to me.
Bank and medical apps get an automatic 1 star because I don’t get a choice in using them and I want them always improving.
Sounds like the users are just hella trashy, which sucks because it also means there is enough demand for the service if they are getting used enough to leave a mess.
Hmmm I wasn’t thinking about it before, but I am now.
Advertising successful!
Thank you for this insight!
Yeah it was a good episode. They were blown away.
#2 on the sides, tapered up to finger length up top. Leave me some extra in the front
They are correct. I’d do it myself but there’s alot of spam in 1 can for a pizza or even 2. I’ll have to set some aside next time I make Spam Masubi. Of course that means a few less servings of masubi… life is full of hard choices…
You asked a question. Someone showed you the answer you sought was “No.”
Just say thank you and move on. Don’t double down and make yourself a jackass.
Once unskippable warnings and ads appeared on DVDs I bought, I became a lost cause.
Yup that’s what he said to her alright…
Nothing makes me automatically assume someone is lying to me faster than a “think of the children” campaign.
Yup. Several of the heavy smokers I met in high school ended up “perma-fried” it’s not a guarantee, but it was way more than 1/100.
Same goes for people who really made drinking a part of their identity in HS and college. It’s not unique to drugs/alcohol, but they are the most talked about substances that can have adverse effects on a developing brain, and are already controlled substances.
I’m generally against “sin taxes” but I have to admit that the $2 bump per pack after I quit smoking made it easier to not look back. It’s now about $5 more (I think, I haven’t actually looked for a while.)
After 18 years of smoking, I am glad I quit.
Perverts and child abusers, the lot.
