Surprised Pikachu-face
Mach einfach n bingo draus, dann hat man wenigstens ein wenig spaß
i used Fedora with Gnome on Lenovo Yoga and regularly flipped the keyboard around and used it in Tablet mode.
It’s not average, it’s pretty good if you ask me. Never had any issues and it was absolutely usabale.
Offgrid Internet… Hmmmm
If you visit Germany one day, you’ll be enlightenend
Describes my typical retail experience, i wouldn’t call that weird at all :D
I used homebox but switched over to nocodb
Sure thing, glad you like it! :) https://imgur.com/a/XINL1Yp
Thank you very much! :)
Additionally, if Steam would start to morph into what is posted here, it would simply be integrated into Heroic and / or lutris just as Epic is right now. There would be no need to actually launch steam anymore but just use it as a background service to pipe your games into something else.
yup…
.hidden file became my best friend - and a little context menu script for dolphin to easily add a file / folder to that .hidden is a thing i use way too often tbh
And now show hidden files and you see the plethora of applications that dump everything in your homedir instead of .config
I didn’t see it that way and was genuinely scared that there was some creep looking through the brushes 🤣
But no, this wasn’t intentional
👀 what?
where is there a creepy face?
Yeah for example that.
Also with that method you can write out super long serial numbers with only a few characters.
This would be interesting for when you have to number something and have very limited space and don’t want the arabic numbers to be written too small.
I mean lets be honest, this technique is a couple hundred years old and was never adopted or even widespread. So ofc the method we use today is the superior one.
But this is very interesting and fun to play with. For everyone doing TTRPG or LARP this is a cool concept to integrate.
No, bottles is just a program that enables you to use wine much more comfortably.
Wine isn’t super hard to use, but it’s annoying. So stuff like Bottles and Lutris exist, both basically do the same. They give you both a GUI and much easier accessable settings for the wine-prefixes. Those prefixes basically are just folders with the faked windows stuff in it.
Lutris is made for games but can be used for programs too. Bottles is made out of the box for both games and programs, has a much more streamlined interface and workflow and lets you easily create new “bottles” (bottle is just the given name for a wine prefix) for each of your games / programs.
Putting everything in their own bottle / prefix is really handy because it allows you to modify the prefix for each application without ruining it for another. If you need a specific version of a certain .dll file for one game but not for others, you can just install that .dll file in the specific bottle / prefix for that one specific game, and the other games just use their own bottles / prefixes with the default .dll for example.
Very handy.
Bottles is usually more recommended because it’s more streamlined… Also the dev of lutris seems quite toxic and isn’t good with making friends in the scene :D
Check out bottles, there you can easily run your cracked games
Takes just over a minute… How hard can it be
