Me? I’d vote for him. Liked what I saw while he was in congress. Still think it was bs how he was pushed out before any actual investigation was done, if memory serves me correctly.

? I did not get that reference.
Oh I don’t disagree that Biden performed much better then. Hopefully next debate is better. Watched an event that he was at a day or two after and was a lot better there too. I’d be a pretty horrible debater myself so I can’t judge too harshly.
That being said. If my choice is gonna be between those two, the blue bus stop is by far closer to where I want to go than the red one. Though to be fair the blue bus stop has always been closer.
I think next debate moderators need a loud game show buzzer when either guy starts spewing absolute bs or ignores questions and goes on rants.
Buzz, mute, correct and move on to the other guy.
Might be more effective if they get a little shock too for some negative reinforcement but at their age I’d be concerned lol.
Lol me @ 7 years old
I used to have a B&D dustbuster/vacuum combo that ended up the same way after sitting a while. Like you, I wanted to swap out the battery but the internals were so convoluted my odds of just destroying it anyways were pretty high.
I have a Craftsman 20v toolkit and they make a dustbuster/vacuum that takes that battery. It’s pricey at $200 but most anything would be better than my wife’s expensive RoboRock vacuum. It gets clogged moments into trying to vacuum carpet, granted its pet hair. Its no wonder they only do the robo-vacuums now.
I usually end up using my little handheld that I bought for around my desk for small messes or the corded Eureka for bigger cleanups, though that is a pain to lug up and down the floors. Hence looking at the Craftsman.
I got that reference!
I’m a millennial, i do it all the time lol
Yeah our CIO started talking bringing cubes back. My manager, his manner and our director are pretty opposed to this. We do well remote and there are things we literally couldn’t do in the office. We’re in once a week-ish if it works out and if this forced our director would have to move back from multiple states over…. I don’t think they’ll make that move back if pressed and one co-worker expressed “fire me” sentiment if it comes.
Yeah there’s a couple of Meijer’s with huge Tesla superchargers lots, which will be nice if my id.4 gets access this or next year, but with Musk killing off that team, will it happen?
Right now I have 1 L3 (blink) charging area within 5 miles of me, another (evgo) about 10-15 miles away, and then one more EvGo about 20 miles away. Apparently there are two under construction closer to me but they’re been that way for months on plugshare. There is an EA station if I go further and get on the turnpike.
Thankfully I can L1 charging can take of most of my needs until I can afford to install a L2 EVSE probably with next year’s tax refund.
And here I thought it was referencing my car.
Are you me? Though i don’t necessarily blame my parents, they just thought that they were encouraging me to do the right thing for my future. I can’t say that my degree was entirely useless but I’d like to think i could have gotten to spot similar to where i am now without the 100k in student loans.
I wouldn’t be surprised if that were true. My coworker and I both got a certification last year. I received a promotion shortly after that, but he didn’t get his until much later. He was thinking it might have to do with me having a bachelor’s while he only has an associates degree. I hope that wasn’t it, but I wouldn’t be surprised. Some corpo stooge having to be convinced the technically senior co-worker with tons of tribal knowledge is fit for a step-up promo….sheesh.
Yeah…I agree. I will say I hope I can at least mitigate the debt issue as much as I can because I won’t be able to help pay, and I’m sure by the time my oldest is ready I’ll make too much for him to qualify for much aid. Maybe community college first or a trade school depending on what their interested in.
I’ve joked with my wife about sending the kids to Germany as IIRC they have a really good system that is friendly to international students there. But this is me trying to remember stuff from 15-20 years ago lol
Yeah crossing my fingers there’s some fixes in the works along side any debt forgiveness, but with this political environment and some folks attitude of “F you, I got mine “, I’m doubtful.
Yeah I’d definitely rather have them go to one of the community colleges or maybe a more technical school depending on what they want to do. I just want to prevent them from having to live with what might be debt I deal with for the rest of my life. No big University unless they manage a full ride or something, lol. Mean from my mistakes.
I have to wonder if my generation [Millenial] had any effect on university enrollments yet. My kids aren’t quite the age to talk about education plans as I had kiddos later in life @30yo (40 now). I’ll be strongly discouraging uni unless it’s completely unavoidable to what they want to do.
Binged, thoroughly enjoyed and now await season2
Health Care “System” I worked for tracked and audited this automatically. Could only access patient data of patients you were assign and the software tracked how often and when the data was accessed. Had a nurse almost get canned because the software showed that she was accessing a patient’s data outside of hours she would have been seeing the patient. Turns out her install was buggy. Forgot what exactly it was that cleared her.
But yeah, I’d have to think the records of the president would have much more security lol. Or maybe not?
