People around here reeealy seem to hate the fact that Joe is 81 years old. I am going to vote for whoever the (D)s put up for president, but I am not so drunk on propaganda that I would say Joe is a strong candidate.

It’s not his age that’s the problem, per se. Bernie Sanders, for example, is older and would be an immeasurably better candidate - one whose victory over Trump would be assured (in 2016 or 2024).

Yeah, it is the most indisputable issue with Joe, though. I am not too much a fan of his direct support of an ethnic cleansing, but I know some people think it is a conspiracy theory or not directly applicable to their lives.

Joe is a terrible candidate, for a lot more reasons than just his age, but the time to replace him was two years ago. He shouldn’t have run for reelection. But since he did, he’s the candidate. He is the candidate the (D)s put up for president. The time for complaining about what a shitty camdidate is long over, and the people bitching are either idiots or Trump supporters. But I repeat myself.

Damn, that seems like a very MAGA mentality. “Either idiots or Trump supporters.”, huh? Ignoring issues with candidates is really a close minded position to take. Joe cannot be the only viable candidate in the Democratic party.

The worst part is he could’ve simply said “I’m too old for this shit! I’ve personally selected <insert spry 40-something slightly edgy but in a “safe” way pick here> to run for president in 2024 in my place” then put his full force behind the candidate.
