Fede Alvarez has an amazing track record thus far. I am cautiously optimistic about this. Honestly the trailer didn’t even impress me much, but if anyone could do the franchise justice, it’s Fede Alvarez.
I thought Don’t Breathe was better than his Evil Dead reboot but he’s very good at creating tension which is vital for this franchise.
The lack of focus on the Xenomorph in the trailer is a good sign at least, imo. Hopefully means they won’t overuse it to the point that it ruins the tension.
That’s a good looking trailer. I’ve been anticipating this for a while, nice to see it’s not getting Disneyfied judging from this little bit.
